3 Days Meru National Park Safari

A 3-day Meru National Park safari: The park is one of Kenya’s best wildlife parks and has been left nearly unspoilt for years. The park is 300km from Nairobi and located towards the northeast of Mount Kenya and plays host to a variety of common and uncommon wildlife such as lions, rhinos, Grevy’s zebra, and a wide variety of birdlife.

Our journey will start from Nairobi early in the morning, and it would be a 6-hour drive to the park with two rest stops along the way. We’ll have an afternoon safari inside until 6 pm, after which we exit the park and return to our hotel for dinner and a daily recap.

We’ll have an early breakfast on the second day and leave for the park at 6 am for a full-day safari. For this day, we will have carried some packed lunch from the hotel.

On the 3rd and final day, a quick breakfast followed by an early visit for a morning drive and then departure from the park at 11 am for our return journey back to Nairobi.

We’ll be staying at Ikweta Country Inn for two nights, located a few kilometres outside the park.

The cost per person is Ksh 16,500 if you are sharing a room and Ksh 18,000 if you are staying alone.
