Sharpen Your Aim, Experience the Thrill.
The Kenya Regiment Rifle Club (KRRC) is one of Nairobi’s oldest shooting ranges. Established in 1952, KRRC has played a pioneering role in promoting shooting as a sport in Kenya. Located within the Sailing Club grounds in Lang’ata, Nairobi, the facility offers a safe and modern indoor shooting environment suitable for both beginners and experienced marksmen.
KRRC is conveniently located along Lang’ata Road. If you’re using public transport, take a matatu or city bus and get off at Carnivore Junction, across from the petrol station. The club is just a five-minute walk from there. The recently paved access road guarantees smooth, hassle-free entry by car or on foot.
To enter the shooting range, visitors must present a valid National ID card. The minimum age for participation is 14 years.
Kenyans who hold licensed personal firearms are welcome to bring their own firearms. Ammunition is available for purchase on-site, following the club’s firearm type restrictions.
KRRC features a safe and modern indoor range. Friendly, experienced instructors are always available to help, and all participants receive safety gear, including eye and ear protection. Whether you’re training, learning self-defense, or just want to try shooting for fun, KRRC accommodates all skill levels.
The range operates Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays.
The Kenya Regiment Rifle Club charges a range entry fee of Ksh 2,000 for adults and Ksh 1,500 for students per session. Ammunition costs are separate, averaging Ksh 2,500–3,000 for 50 rounds depending on caliber.
